Ever since I was little I've loved drawing, creating my own holiday and birthday cards for friends and family. The summer before my freshman year in high school brought out my love for drawing portraits, and I've been drawing them ever since.
Although my preference is pencil (graphite and/or color), I'm also a fan of acrylic and guoache paints, watercolors, ink and markers. I do a lot of my work on Bristol, also utilizing pre-stretched canvases, matt board and heavy stock colored papers.
I've always been intrigued by the human figure, the musculature, the bone structure, and especially facial features. While every skull and a person's general make is similar, every person is unique; and I enjoy the fact that no portrait is the same.
